Join us every Thursday at Christ Church for The Interpreters’ Table, a year-round Bible study designed to help you grow in faith and explore the transformative power of God’s Word.
Why Study Scripture?
For generations, Christians have turned to scripture as a source of spiritual transformation and guidance. Studying God’s Word not only informs us about Him and His Kingdom but also shapes us to be more like Christ, the One who speaks to us and calls us to Himself.
What to Expect:
-
Engaging Discussions: Explore the intentions, techniques, and messages behind biblical texts. Learn what these writings meant to their original audiences and what they mean for us today.
-
In-Depth Focus: Begin with a detailed study of the Gospel of Luke, which will be read during Sunday Eucharists starting in December, and continue with the Acts of the Apostles, the second volume of Luke’s work.
-
Expert Leadership: Led by Bishop Charles Bennison, assisted by Father Bill Barton, this study offers both theological and historical insights into scripture.
Details:
-
Time: Thursdays, 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
-
Location: Christ Church Vestry Room
-
Materials Provided: Copies of the text will be available.
